Animal group rescues dog shot multiple times

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Paws 4 the Cause is looking for donations for a dog who was shot multiple times.

The rescue group says the dog named Angel is a terrier mix and is about a year old.

Officials say she came from a rural area in Kentucky where someone shot her repeatedly with a shotgun. They say x-rays show the dog’s body full of pellets.

The group says Angel has been stabilized, but will probably lose one of her eyes due to the wounds.

Anyone interested in fostering Angel should call (859) 962-8256. For foster applications, click here. To donate towards Angel’s vet bill, visit www.paws4thecause.com/donate.
