Animal Care & Control warns people of touching baby animals

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control is urging everyone to wait and observe before you touch a baby animal.

If you see baby animals like kittens, bunnies, and raccoons alone it likely means mom will return soon.

Sometimes the mothers are moving their babies to a nesting spot.

Lexington-Fayette Animal Care and Control says it’s critical for kittens to remain in the care of their mothers as she assures them the best chance of survival.
