Andrija Jelavic commits to Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Oh. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – After one season in Lexington, Andrija Jelavic is headed to the Buckeye State.
Jelavic averaged 5.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.7 assists over 32 games as a Wildcat. He shot 47.7% from the field and 27.6% from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-11 Croatian has three years of eligibility remaining.
After committing to Ohio State, Jelavic addressed Big Blue Nation on his Instagram story.
“Dear Big Blue Nation, I know all of you might currently have mixed feelings about me, but I do not have mixed feelings about you. I love every single one of you and I thank you for all the love and support you gave me this year,” the post read.
“It would not feel right to just leave without letting you know how much I appreciate and love you and will forever. This program was always destined for greatness and that will never change because it is in great hands with Coach Pope and the rest of the amazing coaching staff.”
