Andrew Harrison leads UK to 69-58 win over Georgia

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky point guard Andrew Harrison scored a season-high 23 points in leading the Wildcats to a 69-58 win over Georgia in Rupp Arena on Tuesday night.

No. 1 Kentucky improved to 22-0 overall and 9-0 in league play.

Georgia, playing without its top scorer and rebounder Marcus Thornton, fell behind by 18-points early in the second half, but out-worked the Wildcats to get back into the game.

At one point, the Bulldogs pulled to within 63-58, but Andrew Harrison hit key shots down the stretch to give Kentucky the victory.

Georgia fell to 14-7 overall and 5-4 in the SEC.

Kentucky’s next game is Saturday night at Florida.  Tip-off is 9:00 p.m. (EST).
