Anderson County will receive state road repair funds

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Anderson County will be getting emergency funds for road repair.

The Transportation Cabinet announced Friday it will give the Anderson County Fiscal Court $40,290 for a slide repair on Anderson City Road (CR 1100).

“The Bevin administration is committed to the Cabinet’s mission of providing a safe, reliable transportation network for all Kentuckians,” said Transportation Secretary Greg Thomas.  “These emergency funds will help local governments repair and restore damaged infrastructure throughout their communities”.

The Anderson County Fiscal Court will be responsible for making the work happen.
