Anderson County firefighters forced to let home burn

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Firefighters in Anderson County say they had no choice but to let a home burn Monday morning.

Volunteer firefighters with the Anderson County Fire Department were called to a house fire in the 1200 block of Bondville Road.

They say they arrived to find a large, two-story abandoned house engulfed in flames.

The home was located at the bottom of a steep hill and was totally inaccessible except by foot, according to the firefighters.

The firefighters say it was decided to let the home burn since it impossible to put out the fire and there were no exposure threats.
