Anderson Co. Health Dept.: Flu vaccines still available
LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – With 20 confirmed cases of flu at the Anderson Co. Health Department in the month of March, public health director Tim Wright is urging people to do three things: get vaccinated, wash your hands, and stay away from people who are sick.
Of the 20 cases, the health department says 7 people were type A, while 13 were type B. Type A influenza constantly changes, and is generally responsible for larger flu epidemics.
The Anderson Co. Health Department says they still have vaccinations available, and are urging people to get one.
