An abandoned dog and her nine puppies rescued in Boyle County
BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Boyle County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find whoever abandoned a mother dog and her nine puppies.
Deputies say the dogs were discovered alone with no food or water until a passerby stopped to give them water and call for help. Boyle County Animal Care and Control quickly responded, rescuing the animals and ensuring they are now safe.
Officials say the mother dog and her puppies will be cared for and eventually placed for adoption. The investigation to identify the person responsible is ongoing.
