Americans and the Holocaust traveling exhibit comes to Scott Co. Public Library

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Scott County Public Library is a temporary home to a traveling exhibit ‘America and the Holocaust’.

The exhibit is about how Americans responded to the Holocaust and World War II.

The exhibit shows the positive and negative responses of the U.S.

“This is actually from this viewpoint, looking back and looking at what we did: how we handled immigration, how we handled refugees, what did we do with the information about all the atrocity information that we were receiving. It’s a really complex situation,” said Adult Services Manager Melissa Gibson.

The exhibit will be at the library in Georgetown until Jan. 4, 2024.
