All Registered Voters Eligible To Vote In Lexington Primary
Every single voter in Fayette County will have issues to vote on, not just registered Republicans and Democrats.
The Lexington mayoral race and the battle for the Fayette Urban County Council are nonpartisan races, meaning any registered voter can cast a ballot on the issues.
Blevins said you will need to prove your identity to the election workers.
If you don’t have a driver’s license, a state-issued ID, social security card, credit card, or another ID that has your picture and signature will work.
Blevins also recommended double-checking your voting location since redistricting may have caused changes for some families.
Polling locations can be checked at FayetteCountyClerk.com or by calling 859-253-VOTE.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
