LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kent Desormeaux has saddled 21 Kentucky Derby horses.  He’s won 3 times and placed in the money a total of 8.

Twice, Kent’s been aboard for trainer and brother, Keith.

The duo finished 16th last year with Sonneteer and second in 2016 with Exaggerator.

Nonetheless, Terry Finley and company, who won with Always Dreaming last year, are excited about the opportunity to be in the mix again; an opportunity they didn’t think they’d have even leading up to the Lexington if you ask Finley.
