Alex Poythress Sidelined For The Season
UK basketball player Alex Poythress has suffered a knee injury that will sideline him for the rest of the season.
The athletic department says the junior forward tore his left ACL at practice Thursday.
Poythress hasn’t set a date for surgery yet, but recovery usually takes six to eight months.
The 6’8" forward from Tennessee was averaging 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in his third season for Kentucky.
