Alcohol Suspected In Fatal Crash

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a fatal wreck in Powell County.

State Police said Donald Jones, 63, of Stanton was driving south on Kentucky 213 when he crossed the center line, went off the shoulder of the road and hit a tree.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they think alcohol was a factor. They also said Jones was not wearing a seat belt.
