Paint Lick man killed in crash

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say an accident in Rockcastle County over the weekend left a Paint Lick man dead.

The accident happened on Sunday on US Highway 25 in Mount Vernon at around 9:00 a.m.

State Police say 36-year-old Anthony Frederick was driving a 2009 Chrysler van when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree head-on.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Rockcastle County Coroner’s Office.

Troopers say Frederick was not wearing a seat belt.
