Airport advice for Breeders’ Cup visitors
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Following the conclusion of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport is anticipating a record number of passengers flying on Sunday, November 1 and Monday, November 2, 2015. With additional flights and many larger-size aircraft in operation, the airport is recommending all passengers arrive two hours prior to their flight departure time.
Passengers are encouraged to take advantage of mobile check-in and boarding to eliminate the need to visit their airline ticket counter. Guests at the airport will be entertained during their visit with the airport’s Sounds of the Bluegrass music program and special shopping activities including Kentucky food product tastings, an art trunk show and author book signings.
For questions regarding your travels, contact the airport’s Information Center at 859.425.3100 or visit www.bluegrassairport.com or www.tsa.gov for additional travel resources.
