Afternoon House Fire Kills Dog

LEXINGTON, Ky.- A fire caused sever damage to a home off Kenton Street in Lexington around 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Firefighters say no one was home at the time but a dog was killed in the flames.

The fire department thinks the fire was electrical in nature.
