UPDATE: Woman missing from adult day care found
FALMOUTH, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman who walked away from an adult day care in Falmouth earlier this month has been found safe.
Falmouth Police say 29-year old Sarah Strunk left the Clubhouse Adult Day Care Program on Park Street in Falmouth on October 7, and hadn’t been seen until Thursday afternoon.
Police say they received a call about a woman who appeared to be lost near the Licking River at 2nd Street and Main.
They say they recognized immediately that it was the missing woman.
They say Strunk appeared a bit dehydrated and fatigued, but otherwise seemed to be okay. Investigators say she was taken to an area hospital to be checked out.
When asked where she had been and what she had been doing during the nearly two weeks she was missing, investigators say she couldn’t really answer, in part, because of the fatigue and dehydration.
