Adoption fees waived during Woodford County Humane Society Holiday Adoption Drive

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ)- Quantrell Subaru is sponsoring every pet adoption in full until December 22 at the Woodford County Humane Society.

For families wanting to adopt, that means no adoption fee on any of Woodford Humane’s cats, dogs, and any other animals available for adoption during the Adoption Drive.

2018 marks the sixth year that Quantrell Subaru has sponsored adoptions around the holidays. 2016’s Adoption Drive sent home 130 pets, with that number climbing even higher to 170 during 2017’s two-week drive.

The adoption process will involve the same screening and procedures as it would any other time of year, according to Marketing Director Beth Oleson.

Adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, a starter bag of food, and a free vet visit.

The Adoption Center is open Tuesday-Sunday at noon. Adoptable pets and holiday hours can be viewed at woodfordhumane.org.
