Adopt a duck, help a child at Duck Derby

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The public is invited to adopt a duck and help a child this weekend at Lexington Green.

According to organizers, the Duck Derby encourages the public to sponsor a duck starting at $5, which will then be raced across the lake. If your duck is one of the first 20 to finish, you can score some great prizes.

More importantly, 100% of proceeds benefit the Lexington Kiwanis Club which will help local children with a snack pack program, local scholarships, all-inclusive playground equipment and more.
