Accused armed robber turns himself-in

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint over the weekend, turned himself-in, according to the Letcher County Sheriff’s Department.

Investigators say Kenneth Cornett, of Letcher County, is accused of holding up Ramey’s Convenient Store in Cornettsville in Perry County on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Deputies say Cornett turned himself in at the Letcher County Sheriff’s Department.

He was taken to the Letcher County Jail.
