Accident in Pulaski County kills 17-year-old

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A teenager is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Pulaski County.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was called to the scene of the crash on Highway 39 near Somerset shortly after 12 a.m. Monday.

They say 17-year-old Madison Hannah, of Somerset, was traveling southbound when she failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and her car flipped several times.

She was thrown from the car, according the sheriff’s office.

Hannah was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say speed and wet road conditions may have been contributing factors in the cause of the accident.

They say Hannah was not wearing a seat belt.
