Accident on Winchester Road hospitalizes three

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a head-on-collision on Winchester Road sent three people to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers say it happened around 2 p.m. on Sunday near the New Circle Road exit.

The road was shut down for about an hour for emergency crews to clean up the wreck.

Police were not sure what caused the accident but they are investigating.
