ABC 36 takes over Double Dogs in Hamburg for SEC Kickoff
SEC on ABC starts on Saturday August 31
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- The ABC 36 Sports and Weather teams took over Double Dogs in Hamburg to kickoff the SEC on ABC season.
Chief Meteorologist TG Shuck, Sports Director Jeff Piecoro and Sports Anchor Forrest Tucker helped ring in a new era of SEC football that will be broadcast on ABC 36 starting in 2024.
Double Dogs, Jeff Ruby’s and Clarks Pump and Shop and Kentucky Volleyball players helped bring the community out for a night of food and fun with several giveaways.
Additionally, a portion beer sales of Double Dogs’ Diddley brew will send money to the Lexington Humane Society.
Four winners took home gifts cards from Clark’s Pump and Shop and Jeff Ruby’s, but there was only one grand prize. Tony Hendrichs is the lucky winner of 400 dollars worth of gift cards to Clark’s Pump and Shop, Jeff Ruby’s and Double Dogs.
The SEC on ABC starts on August 31 with three prime matchups.
- Clemson vs Georgia in Atlanta at 12:00 p.m.
- Miami (FL) at Florida at 3:30 p.m.
- Notre Dame at Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m.
