Abandoned apartment building burns in Perry County

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – An abandoned apartment building that didn’t have any electricity hooked-up to it caught fire Wednesday afternoon, according to the Hazard Fire Department.

Investigators say the call about the fire on Christopher Road came in just before 1:00 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
