Powell County man due in court after being accused of threatening local officials
POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Powell County man is set to appear in court Monday after police say he used Halloween decorations to threaten local government officials.
According to Kentucky State Police, 58-year-old Stephan Marcum was arrested October 4th in Stanton after troopers discovered body bag–style decorations in his yard that allegedly included threats directed toward multiple local leaders.
Marcum faces charges of terroristic threatening and intimidating a witness. State police say the investigation remains ongoing.
