Ohio fugitive arrested in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A fugitive from Ohio has been arrested in Laurel County, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say 19-year-old Timothy Mullis of Cincinnati was taken into custody Wednesday night around 9 p.m. on Braxton Lane.

According to the sheriff’s department, Mullis was wanted in Ohio as a fugitive from another state. Deputies also say he was charged on a Campbell County bench warrant for failure to appear on a theft by unlawful taking, or shoplifting, charge.

Mullis is being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center following his arrest.
