New details in FBI arrest of Maysville woman
MAYSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – More information is being released about a Kentucky woman arrested by the FBI last week.
55-year-old Marie Antoinette Castelli was taken into custody in Maysville on Friday, accused of threatening people online and lying to the FBI.
According to police, Castelli allegedly posted the names and addresses of three people on a publicly viewable online document, then encouraged people to find them and kill them.
The indictment against Castelli also says she lied to agents “in a matter involving terrorism.”
Castelli has no criminal history.
The city’s police chief says the FBI was in town a little more than a month before Castelli was arrested.
