Somerset police investigate armed robbery

SOMERSET, Ky. (WTVQ) – Somerset police officers say they were called to a robbery at Eagle Beer Wine & Spirits on North US 27 just after midnight Sunday morning.

Officers say a man entered the store armed with a firearm and demanded cash from employees. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot running from the scene. The store closed at midnight the night of the robbery.
