Lexington Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash

Police said a Lexington man is dead after an accident at the intersection of Leestown Road and Greendale Road around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday.

According to police, William Murray was turning his pick-up truck onto Leestown Road when he was hit by Brandon Morrison, 40, who was riding a Harley.

Police said a witness said Morrison ran the red light.

Police said  Morrison was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. They suspect speed and alcohol to be factors.

Murray was not injured in the crash.
