Victim’s name released in fatal Rowan Co. shooting
ROWAN CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police have released additional details on a fatal shooting in Rowan Co.
According to Troopers, they along with Rowan County deputies, went to a home on KY 32 near Brown Ridge Road Tuesday morning on a report of a domestic dispute. When they got there, they looked for a man that was reportedly involved in the dispute and had left the scene.
Police say they were unable to find the man and left, but the man returned to the house where he was reportedly shot and killed by someone in the home.
According to the Rowan County Coroner John Northcutt the name of man that was shot is 24-year-old Marvin James “Jimmy” Adkins.
The Morehead News is reporting that Teddy Johnson was arrested and charged with murder.
No one else was injured and the case remains under investigation.

Troopers say the shooting that killed a man was the result of a domestic dispute at a home off HWY 32 near Trent Ridge.
