Traffic Update: Signals back on at busy intersection

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The traffic signals are back on at the busy intersection of Nicholasville Road and Man O War Boulevard in Lexington. For several hours on Sunday, Lexington Police officers directed traffic while crews worked on new traffic signals for the intersection.

Nearly a dozen officers took turns directing traffic while the signals were down.

No incidents were reported, according to police.

The traffic signal work is designed to ease congestion around a new mall being built at the corner of Nicholasville Road and Man O War Boulevard.
