UPDATE: I-75 Southbound reopens after semi truck collision

MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ) – I-75 southbound has re-opened after a collision Friday morning.

Officials say the accident, between two semi trucks, happened around mile marker 63.

Police say traffic is being re-routed to US 25 at mile marker 76.

Clean-up is expected to take hours, and motorists are being advised to find alternate routes of travel.

No word on any injuries in the accident.
