Worker killed at Southern States in Harrodsburg

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Southern States outlet in Harrodsburg closed this afternoon after a worker there was killed in apparent work-related accident.

Officers say they received a call about the accident just before 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Police say a frontloader tipped over, pinning a man to the ground and killing him.

The identity of the man has not been released, pending notification of next-of-kin.

Officers say OSHA has been contacted, and will be investigating.
