LPD: Man tries to hit juveniles, bites woman

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a Lexington man who tried to run down two juveniles and bit a woman on the mouth last week is now under arrest.

40-year-old Roger Smith is charged with assault and wanton endangerment.

Court documents say Smith got into a fight with his wife and bit her on her mouth on July 27th.

Documents say Smith then took off.

His wife called her daughter and while on the phone, heard squealing tires and her daughter scream.

The daughter told police Smith tried to run down her and a friend with his truck while they were walking along the street.

Records also say Smith kicked an officer while he was being booked into jail.
