State Police: Would-Be Burglar Shot To Death In Home

State Police said a would-be burglar was shot to death after breaking into a home in the Gordon community of Letcher County.

Investigators said Wayne Duff broke-in to James Brown’s home, who confronted Duff.  State Police said Brown ended up shooting Duff, who died at the scene.

State Police said no charges were filed against Brown.

The case will be presented to a Letcher County Grand Jury.
