Georgia men arrested in Caldwell Co. on trafficking charges

KUTTAWA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say two Georgia men are behind bars after being found with methamphetamine in their car.

Troopers say they stopped a 2002 Dodge Neon on Friday, July 22 at about 9:30 a.m. on I-24 for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop, officers say they saw several indicators of criminal activity, so they brought in a K-9 unit, who alerted on the car.

Police say they found 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine in the car.  32-year-old Terry L. Voyles, of Villa Rica, GA, and 40-year-old John Woodham, of Douglasville, GA were arrested and charged with trafficking and possession.

Both were taken to the Caldwell Co. Detention Facility.
