Laurel Co. Sheriff looking for suspect in robbery

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff is hoping for help from the public in finding a man he says robbed the Corner Market on HWY 830 at KY 1223 on Tuesday at noon.

According to the Sheriff, 37-year-old Jason Wells went into the store, asked for change for a $100 dollar bill, and then snatched a money bag from the clerk, ran out of the store and took off in a vehicle.  The Sheriff says that the vehicle appeared to have a woman inside, and is described as a blue colored Monte Carlo with a red fender.
