Salvation Army’s ‘Angel Tree’ Program Underway
The purpose of the program is to make sure every child has something under the Christmas Tree.
According to Major Debra Ashcraft, associate coordinator for The Salvation Army Central Kentucky Area Services, “The Angel Tree provides a very personal way to make a difference for a family struggling with low income, job loss, reduced work hours, or high medical bills.”
The public is being asked to visit a Salvation Army Angel Tree display, select a child’s angel tag, purchase a gift(s) using the information on the tag, and return the gift(s) and tag by December 9th.

Gifts may be returned to any display location or directly to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Center at 1030 South Broadway (the former Winn Dixie) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. beginning November 26th.
