1 dead in western Kentucky helicopter crash

MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) – Kentucky State Police say officers are on the scene of a fatal helicopter crash in western Kentucky.

Police say the victim is a TVA pilot, John R. Love of Maryville, TN.

Police said in a news release that representatives of the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are on their way to the scene.
