Rain didn’t stop celebration in Downtown Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Smaller than usual crowds in Downtown Lexington for the annual July 4th Street Festival but the rain didn’t stop everyone from celebrating.
The street festival featured arts and crafts, nonprofit organizations, concessions vendors and more.
Entertainment began at 10 a.m. and will feature various country, rock, R&B and Bluegrass bands on five stages.
Volunteers took turns reading the Declaration of Independence and the parade went on as scheduled despite some rain.
