“Lemon Aid” stand set up at ballpark
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- There was more than just peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jacks Friday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington. You could also buy some lemonade, and help the Salvation Army’s Lemon Aid program.
The money raised helps provide shelter for homeless children. And you can do more than buy lemonade. Click here for information on how children can set up their own stand.
Also, keep an eye out for Lemon Aid stands at Walmart and Kroger stores, as well as Fayette Mall and Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The fundraiser runs through August 5.
