Bell Co. drug round-up nets 14 arrests

PINEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say 14 people have been arrested as the result of a drug round-up in Bell Co.

According to Troopers, the drug round-up was the result of an investigation into narcotics that lasted several months.  During the investigation, detectives say they were able to purchase prescription drugs, methamphetamine, suboxone, and marijuana from suspects.

The arrests are as follows:

• Charles R. Sikes (36 years old), Middlesboro, Ky.

• Jimmy Payne (44 years old), Pineville, Ky.

• Jo Ann Bolt (53 years old), Middlesboro, Ky.

• Aimee L. Brock (33 years old), Middlesboro, Ky.

• Sky Smallwood (34 years old), Middlesboro, Ky.

• Heather Collett (39 years old), Pineville, Ky.

• Irene Wiggins (64 years old), Pineville, Ky

• Samantha Smith/McGeorge (45 years old), Pineville, Ky

• Steven Brock (52 years old), Kettle Island, Ky.

• Greg Brock (49 years old), Kettle Island, Ky.

• Chris Brown (42 years old), Middlesboro, Ky

• Leslie Browning (44 years old), Pineville, Ky.

• Sam Gambrell (39 years old), Stoney Fork, Ky

• Doug McFarland (47 years old), Middlesboro, Ky

All suspects were arrested on trafficking charges of varying degrees.  Troopers say they still have open investigations, and expect additional arrests.
