The memory of a fallen soldier is helping current troops celebrate the holidays.
It’s called Operation Dustin Gross in honor of Private First Class Gross who was a Mt. Sterling native killed in Afghanistan in May.
The Montgomery County High School JROTC has been putting together care packages for active duty military personnel in his memory.
Saturday, Check Advance started collecting supplies for Christmas boxes.
If you want to donate, organizers say you can give cash.
