Nicholasville police ask for help identifying suspects

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Nicholasville are asking the public for help identifying suspects and a vehicle in a recent theft.

Officers say that around 8:30 p.m. on June 15, a man and a passenger were caught on video at the Spit Shine Car Wash on Hendron Way.  Police say that one of the two used a device to make the change machine dispense money.  Investigators say the suspect managed to take a substantial sum from the machine in the theft.

Police say the suspects are belived to both be men, and that they were driving what appears to be a newer model Ford Fusion.  Officers also say the car wash may not be the only place the men have stolen money from, saying they may have traveled to other parts of Kentucky using the same method to steal cash.
