Foot pursuit ends in arrest for Central City man

BROWDER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a Central City man has been arrested on numerous charges after leading police on a foot chase.

Officers say at about 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, they responded to a call at a home in the 400 block drive of KY 70 East in Muhlenberg Co.  When they arrived, police say they say 42-year-old Bobby J. Waddell run off into a wooded area.  Police say they followed Waddell, and eventually had to use a taser to stop him.

Waddell was taken to the Muhlenberg Co. Detention Center and charged with public intoxication, fleeing and evading, possession, resisting arrest, and other charges.
