Deputies: Heroin bust made at Frankfort apartment complex

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says several arrests were made after a lengthy investigation into alleged heroin sales at a Frankfort apartment complex.

It says a search warrant was executed Wednesday afternoon at the Compton Apartments on Reilly Road. Deputies say Darron Chadwell was found hiding in a bathroom. They say he was arrested on an outstanding parole violation warrant.

Investigators say Marissa Chadwell, Virginia “Jenny” Runion and Mike Anglin, who are all from Frankfort, were arrested on heroin trafficking charges. Deputies say they found about 6 grams of heroin, cash and illegal prescription pills.

The sheriff’s office says it expects more arrests to be made in its investigation. It’s asking the community to anonymously send drug tips to its “Text a Tip” line at 502-320-3306.
