Two women killed in crash in Winchester

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A late-night accident leaves two dead in Clark County.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on Bypass Road in Winchester.

Winchester police say it was a three-car accident but are still trying to determine exactly how it happened.

The Clark County Coroner tells us that 62-year-old Sarah Helfrich from Richmond and 35-year-old Juanetta Mitchell from Berea both died on scene.

There were no other serious injuries reported.
