Van crashes into building in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department is on the scene of an accident in the 700 block of East 7th Street.

According to responders, a van has crashed into the Guaranteed Pest Control building.

Firefighters say the van was up on blocks, while repairs were being performed.

Responders say the van somehow jumped into reverse, crossed 7th street, and crashed into the building.

No one was in the van at the time of the accident, and no one was hurt.

The building, however, sustained significant damage, say firefighters, and cannot be entered.
