BOIL WATER ADVISORY: Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Danville Water Works is issuing a boil water advisory for areas of Danville due to a broken fire hydrant.

Until further notice, customers on the east side of Perryville, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Streets should boil their water for at least 3 minutes before using for cooking or drinking.

Crews are in the process of repairing the hydrant.

Officials at Danville Water Works say no contamination has been confirmed at this time, but are issuing the advisory out of an abundance of caution.
