Donald Trump returning to Kentucky for NRA forum

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – Donald Trump will appear at the National Rifle Association’s annual Leadership Forum in Louisville on Thursday.

The Republican presidential candidate will be joined by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Senator Rand Paul.

The NRA Institute for Legislative Action event takes place at Freedom Hall during the NRA’s annual meeting of members. The event is only open to members, with tickets ranging from $20 to $40.

Trump won the Kentucky Republican presidential caucus in March and was in Kentucky four days before for a rally, at which three protesters alleged Trump supporters assaulted them.
